What we collect
- Account details: your username, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash) and the settings you choose.
- Content: the messages, profile information, images and files you post.
- Technical data: IP addresses and browser information when you post or sign in, used to prevent abuse and keep accounts secure.
- Cookies: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and small preference cookies (such as light or dark mode). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
We use this information to run the forum: to show your content, send the emails you ask for (such as confirmations, password resets and notifications), and protect the community from spam and abuse. We do not sell your data.
Your choices
- You can change your email preferences and privacy settings in your account.
- You can download a copy of your personal data from your account.
- You can ask for your account to be deleted from your account settings.
